Got Your Ears On? Come and get answers to the questions you have on creation vs. evolution and the biblical worldview, and learn how to understand, apply, and defend your faith in Christ! The 10-4 Youth Conference will teach students, 5th-12th Grade, to see the world around them through the correct set of glasses --a biblical worldview-- by unveiling the truth about the origins debate and showing how the Bible answers questions about science, evolution, dinosaurs, fossils, natural selection, astronomy, and many others. By doing this, we will show the students that the Bible is not only relevant, but necessary in order to view the world correctly and to share the truth of the Gospel with others. An Afternoon at the Country Fair
BRIGHT Children International will be traveling to Mangua, Nicaragua to take therapy services to orphans and children with special needs. Hope for Haiti Silent Auction & Pancake Breakfast
This silent auction & pancake breakfast is a fundraiser to send teams from Life Pointe Church of Woodland (http://www.lifepointenow.net) to Haiti. Our team of 25-30 people will go to Haiti in two shifts; one in July and the other in November of this year. This Silent Auction features amazing and unique art from local artists; including welded lawn ornaments, paintings, wood-working, drawings, and photographs. Valley Christian Academy will be hosting their 7th Annual Golf Tournament on Saturday, April 20, 2013. This is the anniversary of George Washington's first inaugural speech - which if you look him up, what a precious man of God he was! We have decided to assist Sacramento Animal Care & Regulation in stocking their Community Pet Food Pantry. Keeping the shelves stocked with quality pet food allows a well loved pet to remain with their family rather than be surrendered due to financial hardships. To achieve this goal, we will host a community dog wash at which people could donate a bag of dog, cat or rabbit food. Trends-n-Treats Pet Supply-Spa-Boutique of Fair Oaks has generously agreed to host a dog wash event with our troop. They will donate 100% of the proceeds from every “Splash n Dash” dog wash and half of the proceeds from every toenail trim.

Bayside West Community Church is partnering with 3 other Roseville churches to bless our community with a helicopter egg drop and egg hunt. It will take place on Saturday March 30th from 11 a.m. - 1 p.m. at Kaseberg Park in West Roseville. We will have inflateables, bands, games, face painting and of course the helicopter dropping 8,000 eggs from the sky with another 42,000 eggs that we well plant. Every night, over 7,000 precious young lives are lost due to the hunger crisis. LifePointe Church of the Nazarene in Rio Linda, California, is hosting a 30-hour Famine event to bring awareness and make global/local impact. Our youth group (B.A.S.I.C. - Brothers And Sisters In Christ) has a goal of raising $5,000 and we could really use any help possible. $1 feeds 1 child for 1 day and we're also collecting canned food for the Rio Linda Food Closet.

59th Annual Oriental Food Bazaar
METHODIST CHURCH FOOD BAZAAR SET FOR MARCH 2 It takes a village or in this case a congregation! First United Methodist Church of Loomis continues its long tradition with the 59th Annual Oriental Food Bazaar. The past 3 years this event has sold out, so this year there is MORE FOOD!!! Held at Del Oro High School, 3301 Taylor Rd in historic Loomis, the menu includes teriyaki chicken, Asian slaw and their famous chow mein. For your sweet tooth a delicious array of pastries, some made with locally grown fruits will be available. Bring the entire family and Dine In from 11:00-5:00 or drop by for Take Out from 10:30. A special demonstration of a Japanese Tea Ceremony will be presented by Soju (Sumie Ward) and her students at 1:00 and 3:00. Run Rocklin
The 10th annual “Run Rocklin” will be held Sunday, April 7 at Johnson-Springview Park in Rocklin. Since 2004, Run Rocklin has provided a top-notch running event for Rocklin and the surrounding communities. The event has benefited the Matt Redding Foundation and Rocklin’s local schools since 2007. Run Rocklin includes: •Kids Fun Run: 7:45 a.m. •12K Run: 8 a.m. •5K Run/Walk: 8:20 a.m. •Kids 1-mile Run: 9:30 a.m. Adults can pre-register for $34 prior to race day and the cost increases to $39 on the day of the run. Ages 18-under can pre-register for $20; cost is $25 on race day. Both the Kids Fun Run and the Kids 1-mile Run are free.

New Years Eve Blackout Skate and Canned Food Drive
Roller King is hosting a New Years Eve "Blackout" skate and canned food drive to benefit the Placer Food Bank. Bring your canned food donation and receive 1/2 off admission from 8:00pm-1:00am. Regular admission is $20.00 and includes: skating, skate rental, pizza or hot dog, small drink, games throughout the evening, and a midnight balloon drop with prizes! We also have a shorter skating time from 8:00pm-10:30pm. With canned food donation receive free admission to the shorter skating time (skate rental extra, no food included). This event is family friendly and fun for all ages!
